UPDATE: Extremist New Jersey based "Educators for Palestinian Liberation" , "Teaching While Muslim" and "Decolonize the Classroom" holding joint Teach-In in Clifton, NJ

Extremist groups holding a "community learning event centering Palestine" on Sunday, December 15th

Teach-In featuring extremists who call to normalize armed resistance will be held at the Palestinian American Community Center in Clifton, New Jersey. PACC encourages its members to join the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Campaign against Israel and to donate to terror-tied organizations UNRWA and Islamic Relief.

Who is hosting this “teach-in”?

Educators for Palestinian Liberation - Previously covered in this substack (the post revealed their extreme views, including mourning Nasrallah), Educators for Palestinian Liberation describe themselves as New Jersey-based teachers, librarians and professors concerned with educating the community about Palestine.

Educators for Palestinian Liberation advocate against “normalization” with Western liberal values and advocate for and support “armed resistance.”

Educators for Palestinian Liberation believe that to be truly anti-zionist, you have to be anti-imperialist and anti-capitalist.

Teaching While Muslim - Extensively covered in this substack, TWM provide resources for teachers who want to teach about Palestine. They have partnered with CAIR on 9/11 syllabi which blames the cause of 9/11 on US foreign policy in the Middle East and ignores the influence of radical Islam. As previously covered in this substack, TWM also took to its instagram to mourn the death of Yahya Sinwar.

Here, TWM take issue with Jewish students who might wish to study in Israel’s capital city, calling the college fair a “genocidal event”. After months of violent and intimidating protests, they wonder why the event might be held in a secret location?

And finally, Decolonize the Classroom - Thuraya Zeidan, a teacher at Passaic High School. Again, Zeidan is no stranger to this substack and is not shy about her extremist views. She has celebrated Iranian missile barrages against Israel, mourned Yahya Sinwar and reposted a cleric who said more arms are needed to liberate Palestine.

Like Educators for Palestinian Liberation, Zeidan says that true believers should follow Al-Thawabet, that is against normalization with the West and Western values and acceptance of armed resistance.

On October 7th, 2023, Zeidan appears to justify the Hamas terror attack and calls Israel “occupied Palestine.” She also believes that teaching should be through an “anti-colonial lens.”

Here are her views on Bernie Sanders, Jill Stein, Cornel West and other “normalizers” with Israel.

Residents of Clifton, NJ should be very wary about a “teach-in” being run by such extremist groups that reject liberal values, embrace arguments for armed resistance and celebrate terrorists as “martyrs.” A location has not yet been announced for this “teach-in” - but wherever it is held, particularly if in a public facility, those in charge should be made aware of who they are hosting.
