What's in the water in New Jersey? Layla Graham,Montessori Teacher, wants to "decolonize" the curriculum and bring Islam into children's education / TeachingWhileMuslim pushes anti-Palestinian Racism
Graham's goal is to make sure that students don't see a difference between studying religion and studying math, geography or science
Layla Graham, a montessori teacher who also runs “Prime Learning Resources”, an education platform to bring forward the Qu’ran, is passionate about “decolonizing” the classroom and making sure that Islam is brought into every facet of education for Muslim children. Her goal, she says, is that Islam and religion will be integrated into every school subject.
Watch her in action here:
“We’re taught a version of US government and Civics in school that is not really true”
Graham is a resident of Teaneck, New Jersey and has endeared herself to the community there by disrupting city council meetings. So much so that in May she was arrested for defiant trespass and possession of a stun gun in a public building.
This did not deter Graham from attending another city council meeting on October 14th and harassing council members.
Noticeable is Graham’s use of anti-racist arguments and the BLM movement to legitimise her extremist views. This is a common tactic by activists who wish to conflate Zionism with fascism and racism and align Palestine with the “progressive” cause of “anti-racism".
Dedicated readers of this Substack will notice that New Jersey-based Teaching While Muslim liked Graham’s post. Graham returns the favor by sharing many of TeachingWhileMuslim’s resources. This tracks. TeachingWhileMuslim is expert at speaking the language of social justice to appeal to progressives while advancing a radical agenda.
Case in point - they’re going all in on the concept of Anti-Palestinian Racism.

It is worrying indeed that TeachingWhileMuslim which has ties to CAIR and develops curricula and resources for teachers are now pushing this concept.
